Flash-spun vs PP+PE vs microporous coveralls: how to choose
Choose a coverall by the exposure, the complete garment and the evidence available for that exact model. A material name is a starting point, not a protection rating.

What to check
Flash-spun HDPE
A nonwoven structure of high-density polyethylene fibres produced by flash spinning.
Garment design, seams, closure, fit and model-specific evidence.
PP + PE laminate
Polypropylene nonwoven with a polyethylene film layer.
Exact film type and test evidence; PP+PE alone does not mean microporous.
Microporous laminate
A film with microscopic pores bonded to a nonwoven support.
Actual barrier and comfort test data for the specific fabric and garment.
What should a buyer compare?
First write down the substance or soiling, task, exposure route and destination requirements. Then compare complete garments: size and movement, seam design, zipper flap, interfaces with other equipment, and model-specific test documentation. Do not infer identical performance from a shared polymer or similar appearance.
Ask for measured comfort information if heat is a concern. We do not publish a breathability ranking or claim that one of our materials is always cooler. Trial fit and work conditions matter alongside material construction.
Which options does Jingchen Starlight offer?
A1 and A2 use Flash-spun HDPE nonwoven. Model B uses PP nonwoven with PE film; we do not describe B as microporous without confirmation. We do not currently list a separate microporous product. Certification: Chinese national-standard test report available for model A2 on request. No CE or medical certification at present.
A useful enquiry checklist
Include the model, destination, intended task, required evidence, quantity, color and size split. Request a sample and measurement chart before approving artwork and bulk production.
Buyer questions
What is the difference between flash-spun HDPE and PP+PE?
The A series uses Flash-spun HDPE nonwoven. Model B uses polypropylene nonwoven laminated with polyethylene film. Material names alone do not establish protection, breathability or certification. Evaluate the actual garment, seams and test evidence for the intended task.
Which sizes are available?
Both the A series and Model B are available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL; custom sizing available. Request the exact measurement chart and approve fit before bulk production.
Sample preparation: 3–7 days for standard designs and moderate quantities; custom designs and large volumes quoted case by case. Bulk production: 35–45 days for standard designs and moderate quantities; custom designs and large volumes quoted case by case. Payment terms: to be agreed per order (T/T or L/C).
